The time has come to teach our kids the skills that cannot be replaced by AI: innovation, creativity, and teamwork.

In our project-based after-school and weekend enrichment programs, students dive into the fundamentals of engineering, computer science and mathematics problem-solving through a hands-on, 'learn by doing' approach.

Our curriculum is carefully curated by engineering educators and administered by teachers with over 20 years of experience.

Unlike traditional learning centers, where students often struggle to grasp concepts through outdated methods, our program employs research-backed pedagogical methods proven to enhance engagement, understanding, and confidence. By providing hands-on exposure to technical concepts, we foster genuine interest and enthusiasm among our students.

It’s time to revolutionize education and prepare our kids to thrive in the new age of AI, where engineering and computer science are no longer obscure specialties, but ubiquitous tools used to solve problems in every area.

Engineering Classes Poway

After-School Enrichment

In our project-based program, students dive into the fundamentals of problem-solving in engineering, computer science, and mathematics through a hands-on, 'learn by doing' approach. Give your child the chance to develop their identity as an adept problem-solver.

ENGR LOVE: Exploring Engineering

In this Exploring Engineering class, students are immersed in challenges spanning various engineering disciplines such as civil, mechanical, electrical, and more, tackling real-world projects that inspire mastery and creativity. Our research-backed approach provides opportunities for deep learning through engaging projects that develop advanced problem-solving skills. Students will learn how to use maker space equipment such as Arduino microcontrollers, laser cutters, 3D printers, heat presses, and more to bring their ideas into reality.

From designing their own remote-controlled robot (built from scratch, not from a kit!) to training a machine learning model to identify brain tumors, the possibilities for discovery and contribution are endless! College counselors agree that these types of extra-curricular projects make students stand out to top colleges

This course is led by professional engineers and experienced educators who foster a supportive, positive, and empowering environment. We keep cohorts small to ensure teacher-student connection, so spaces are limited. Please complete the registration form to secure your child’s spot.

Thursdays, 4-5pm: Exploring Engineering Grades 4th-6th, $25/hour

Thursdays, 5-6pm: Exploring Engineering Grades 7th-8th, $25/hour

CS LOVE: Exploring Computer Science

Calling all aspiring computer scientists ages 10 and up! Dive into a 10-week computer science course where you'll explore real-world projects and gain hands-on experiences that go beyond the classroom. Our research-backed approach provides opportunities for deep learning through engaging projects that develop advanced problem-solving skills. Some of these projects include coding a Snapchat-inspired program in Python and tackling object-oriented programming through dungeons, dragons, and baseball.

College counselors agree that these types of extracurricular projects set students apart from the mass of applicants to top colleges.

Tuesdays, 4-5pm: Exploring CS Grades 4th-6th, $25/hour

Tuesdays, 5-6pm: Exploring CS Grades 7th-8th, $25/hour

MATH LOVE: Mathematical Problem-Solving

In this Mathematical Problem-Solving course students will be exposed to some of the most interesting problems in math and learn analytical, creative, computational, and fun approaches to solving them.

Students explore real-world problems and gain hands-on experiences that go beyond the classroom. Our research-backed approach provides opportunities for deep learning through engaging projects that develop advanced problem-solving skills. Some of these projects include statistical simulation of baseball games, creating their own alternative-based number system, modeling rabbit population growth, how to use randomization, and creating their own encryption methods.
